Slow Feeding Dog Bowl Insert

I understand the concept, but this isn't made very well. It moves around in the bowl as my dog is eating and eventually, she pulls it out of the bowl because it's in her way. Food is everywhere.

Works great, dog likes to chew it though.

This slow feeder has been fantastic and I love it for our dog! The only downside is that since it's an insert, he pulls it out of his bowl when he's done to look for more food and I'm worried he's going to chew through it one day when I don't catch him in time. His previous slow feeder was all one piece so he couldn't pull it out, but this one is much nicer looking.

Can my dog remove this from the bowl?

Maybe! The insert works well for most dogs, and better than easily removable items like tennis balls. Many dogs will eat around the insert and never bother it. Others will finish their meal, then pull the insert out to check underneath. And, the real determined pups, may pull the insert out early on to get to their food. Every dog is different!
Can I use this insert with any dog bowl?

Any that are big enough to fit the 5.75" insert! The size is made to work with Pet Junkie large stainless steel bowls. It can also be placed on a mat or other surface with treats or food. This works well for small dogs.
Is this product BPA free?

This product is made of silicone, which doesn't contain BPA.
Can I put this insert directly in my Pet Junkie bowl stand?

We always recommend using your stainless steel bowl inside a Pet Junkie bowl stand. This insert would be placed inside the stainless steel bowl.
